The only value I got out of sitting through TARZHARD THE RETURN is seeing it with an Italian soundtrack, as opposed to JUNGLE HEAT only currently being available dubbed into Spanish. Unfortunately, there is no point at all in watching it, given the existence of the far more complete JUNGLE HEAT. Her beauty and erotic prowess briefly upstage Jane star Rosa Caracciolo, but Rosa still dominates the film with her loveliness and passion. IMDb incorrectly has a new cast member -Lulu David - in the role of the maid who elegantly services Tarzan with white gloves on, but in fact it is Barbara Dobici/Dobson, being the exact same footage from JUNGLE HEAT. Jane narrates 15 minutes of 'highlights' footage recapping the action of the first film, and the remaining hour is merely exact scenes repeated, minus the ending of Part One. Running 73 minutes, it begins with the same credits sequence, listing the JUNGLE HEAT cast, even though many of them have been excised from the followup. THE RETURN is the same footage as presented in the original, merely truncated with some narration by Jane added. For this purported sequel, Joe D'Amato did not go back to Africa, but rather returned to the editing room.
